Local Five-Year Old Surviving the Impossible

A miracle in the making.

That's how Tanya Zaugg describes her family's situation right now.

Her five-year old son Aidan has a rare form of brain cancer. But his latest MRI gives reason to hope. The tumor in his body is now "stable." That means it's not growing any larger for now.

And more good news. The Zaugg family also found out there is a slight chance the cancer has run its course.

"Miracles happen everyday," says Aidan's mom Tanya. "It takes having faith and really believing and hoping and knowing that you will have a future and not letting this awful diagnosis defeat you."

Aidan is home for now. He heads back to Seattle for more treatment in November.

In the meantime, this little warrior asks you to visit his website and sign his guestbook. He has a goal to get 1,000 signatures. So far, though, he only has 400.
