Elephant Slide Update
RICHLAND---The famed elephant slide may soon to make its way back to Howard Amon Park. The city plans to decide tomorrow whether to put the reburbished slide near the shade or in an open area near the existing playground.

The slide was upgraded to bring it up to modern safety standards. It was at Howard Amon for years before the new equipment came in and he ended up in storage.

Postings on the city's Facebook page helped resurrect the slide.
