The Fuddruckers needs about 30 people. The city gave the new business some federal grant money to help make the hires. In the end, the restaurant could hire more than 30 people.
"That's what we need. Jobs constantly in our area. We've been fortunate to get some lately. Also, it's a major restaurant that we haven't had there before. It's definitely good," said Hermiston Mayor Bob Severson.
