KENNEWICK - In the movie industry - the saying is lights, camera, action. For two Kamiakin students - its lights, camera, college.

It's an award winning documentary called "El Mas Inteligente" by Angelica Barbosa and Maria de la Cruz. They borrowed a camera from the principal at Park Middle School and shot their film about the importance of going to college, especially for latino students. Angelica, for one, will be the first of her family to attend college.

"It really makes me feel good because some students say, 'oh wow, that was great!' They say they want to go to college and finish my career where i want to be. I don't want to just stop in high school or middle school," said Angelica Barbosa.

The film will be showcased this weekend at the school directors association's conference in Seattle.
