Katie Johnson watches the TV as her niece, Sarah Palin, makes national headlines. Jonh McCain announced Palin as his Vice Presidential running mate.
It was actually Oprah who tipped us off.
Oprah asked if Levi Johnston would be invited to Thanksgiving dinner. She said there was an open invitation to Thanksgiving in Washington at Aunt Katie's house.
As you might remember, Palin's parents are originally from the Tri-Cities.

Action News called up the family and they say “yes, the Palins are coming.”
They say it's a mini-family reunion with about 50 relatives expected.
