PASCO--The legislature passed a bill that would require publishers to disclose book prices and edition changes to professors before they choose to assign it.

The goal of the bill, cheaper books for students.

Mike Corrado, Columbia Basin College freshman says, "it would mean being able to afford all my books and all these kids that try to work part-time as they go to school, like most kids all they can do is work part-time, it's hard to pay for all their books and other expenses."

Another CBC student, Jennifer Coe says, "professors should find out how much it costs so that we as students can know what we need to prepare for fund-wise."

The bill goes to Governor Gregoire next.
