WEST RICHLAND - Tri-City Prep students collected more than 3,560 pounds of food.
It was all for this year's Octoberfest food drive.
Pasco Autoplex dealerships teamed up with Yoke's to get $10,000 of food donated to local food banks.
They beat their goal, bringing in more than $11,000.
"Absolutely amazing from the employees, the dealerships, customers, schools. Just amazing how many people really want to give and help," said Cliff Smith of Legacy Ford.
This is the eighth year of the big Octoberfest food drive. And if you total it all up, that's 234,000 pounds of food over the years.
