KENNEWICK—You called us about speeders on Metaline in Kennewick.

Action News took your concerns to Kennewick police.

They agreed it's a big problem.

“It's perpetual, on going, every year. It's one of the areas in the city that we work quite frequently as a speeding problem. It's a 25 mph resident speed zone and I think people just forget,” Sergeant Ken Lattin with Kennewick Police said.

Police tell us it's the people using Metaline to cut between Kellogg and Edison, who are often driving 10 to 15 mph over.

It's worse when kids are in school and teen drivers are rushing to class.

Cops say they put up the radar speed board to remind drivers a few times a year.
