TERRACE HEIGHTS -- It started as a birthday party but ended in the shooting death of a 19-year-old.

The Yakima County Sheriff's Office says the people hosting the party on Butterfield Road were charging money for alcohol. A group of people showed up with their own beer and didn't want to pay, that led to a fight, then gunshots. According to YSO, it's a possible gang shooting. "We were told that the majority of the uninvited people that showed up claim to have gang affiliation," says Stew Graham, Yakima Sheriff's Office.

Investigators were still working on getting information and statements
early Sunday morning. A second person with gun shot wounds to his hand was treated and released.
