RICHLAND—The renaissance period came alive in Richland Saturday and Sunday.

This is the 23rd annual Renaissance Faire at Howard Amon Park.

They faire started with 8 acts 23 years ago, now they have 35!

There were knights, damsels, pirates, and gypsy dancers to interact with.

Organizers say it's fun, but also a history lesson, jammed with accurate historical facts.

“It is a wonderful place to find literature, music, and dance that just speak to us, even now we still think of Shakespeare plays, the music is both lilting and forgive me lusting,” Production Director Marjorie Kunigisky said.
