PASCO - It's been nine months since Tiairra Garcia vanished without a trace. Now all this time later, prosecutors are handing down manslaughter charges.

19 year old Tiairra Garcia was presumed dead months ago, but she's never been found. Now police say they know where she is, they just can't get to her.

Her body is said to be hidden in the snow at Mount Rainer National Park.

"The area is remote and its rugged its closed and buried in snow," said Jim Raymond with Pasco Police.

On the night she went missing, police say Tiairra was out with Marnicus Lockhart and Ashone Hollinquest.

They first stopped hit up Joey's on Court Street in Pasco and then to a lounge on Lewis Street. The affidavit says Lockhart accidentally shot Tiairra, but didn't take her to the hospital. They just took off, first to a friend's house, then to another, that's where police found their break in the case, blood stained blankets and rugs.

Officers believe the next day Andrea Parr rented a car and drove the men to Mount Rainer where they dumped the body. The rental car was later abandoned in Illinois. All this is according to witnesses.

"It's hard to think of someone going through, what she went through," said Tiairra's friend Ali Beltram.

The manslaughter charge is no consolation for Tiairra's friends. What they want is to finally find their friend and get closure.

"To me it's very important because she deserves her final resting place. Her mom deserves that," said Beltram.

This is not case closed for Pasco Police, they may have their suspect but not Tiarra. In May, they will start up the search for her again.

There are no additional charges yet for the other three involved in the case. Aashone Hollinquest, Andrea Parr and Verla Spencer are already charged in Franklin County district court with first-degree kidnapping, but it's possible they could face more serious charges as well.
