New Tasting Room in Walla Walla

New Tasting Room in Walla Walla
WALLA WALLA--A new tasting room is going in off HWY 12.

It's actually a new home for Waterbrook.

They're already producing wine at the new building.

Waterbrook told us that they're the fourth oldest winery in Walla Walla so they needed an upgrade.

Action News got a sneak peak inside, the owners were going to go with the name "Walla Walla Wine Works", but decided to stick with Waterbrook.

The hope is to make it a place to hang out, and appeal to families.

"We're going to have a pickle court, we're going to have bocce ball courts, we're going to have trout in the pound for kids to fly fish and catch. We just want to have it be a place people can stop and come and spend some time, so they don't have to rush," John Freeman said.

The tasting room is set to open May 1st.

Waterbrook tells me they'll have some specialty wines only available at that tasting room.
