35-year murder sentence in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) — A 43-year-old man was given the maximum sentence of more than 35 years in prison on Thursday in Walla Walla for killing a man who worked as a drug informant for the sheriff's office.

The Union-Bulletin reports Daniel D. Dodd was convicted last month of murder in the June 2011 death of Kevin Myrick.
