KENNEWICK - Fourth street in Kennewick is causing a bout of road rage. We got an email from a viewer pretty upset about a street in Kennewick.

He calls it "the worst roughest street" in the city. He said no one will " lift a finger over this"

So we took our cameras out there to see for ourselves. On Fourth between Union and Edison, there are noticeable potholes, cracks and bumps.

Rosemary Dewitt lives right off Fourth Street. She's got her own method of driving around this area. She tries driving slowly ready to dodge a pothole, but there's no way around it, she's got a rough ride.

"I bought a new car perfect shocks now it is squeaking because of all the ruts," said Dewitt.

Bryant Lopez has lived here most of his life and he says crews patch up the roads but never re-pave.

"They paved up to Edison but this section always gets left out," said Lopez.

The city says this road used to be Benton County land now Kennewick promises to get the work done.

But it won't even go out to bid until next year. City Staffers tell us, waiting until the winter will save money because that's the slow time for the construction season.
