NWS FORECAST -- Thunderstorms will be possible through Friday across the region as an area of low pressure tracks northeast from California across Oregon and into Washington.
Some storms could be strong, producing wind gusts to 50 mph, heavy rain and hail.
As storms approach your area, take cover and postpone activities until the storms move through.
The storms will also produce abundant lightning and with conditions favorable for fire starts, Red Flags Warning for dangerous fire weather conditions have been issued for a large portion of the region.
