2 arrested following drive-by shooting in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Deputies arrested two men following a drive-by shooting Tuesday in Walla Walla.

The sheriff's office said deputies responded to a shots fired call near Isaacs and Ash Street. They noticed a vehicle leaving the area and followed it.

One of the suspects fired a gun near 8th and Moore Street, officials said. The car stopped and police were able to arrest two suspects.

They arrested Frank Tamayo on two counts of drive-by shooting and unlawful possession of a firearm. Mario Deleon was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Nobody was hurt. Detectives from the Walla Walla Police Department Special Teams Unit found one firearm inside the vehicle.
