Local Casino Owes City Cash

YAKIMA -- Action News couldn't reach anyone there, but saw a note on the door saying the casino is temporarily shut down.
The City of Yakima tells us, the casino is past due on some payments and owes the City more than $176,000 in back taxes. All casinos in town are required to pay the City 10% of their net receipts. The City says they haven't seen those from Thunderbird and may have to sue to get their cash. |
