Dennis Huston changes plea to guilty in fraud case
TRI-CITIES, Wash. -- The former head of accounting for Franklin County Public Works admitted stealing nearly $2 million of your money.

Dennis Huston covered his tracks for years until an audit tripped him up and discovered he was billing a phony business.

Huston also had a massive drug problem and much of what he stole might have gone up his nose.

To avoid trial he pleaded guilty to felony theft and drug charges.

Huston is posted bail and was released from jail today while awaiting sentencing.

He was also ordered to pay back $2.8 million.

That may be difficult since the state is recommending 15 years in prison as well.
