Alternative energy fair sparks off at CBC
It was alternative energy day at CBC and kids from all over the area learned about earth friendly activities, and different energy sources that we can use to help the environment. The kids learned some very important things like staying away from power poles. The kids also got a charge out of the solar powered car races as they burned energy down the track. They're were many exibits on hand too teaching the students about the variety of enegy resources and how they could help. Some of the sponsors on hand included Energy Northwest, Columbia Basin Solar and Northwest Renewable Energy.
