Officials: KiBe student has whooping cough
BENTON CITY, Wash. -- A case of whooping cough has been confirmed in KiBe student, according to school officials.
The school was notified that a kindergarten student was treated for whooping cough. That student plans to go back to school once treatment is completed.
The school said they sent parents a letter with information about the symptoms and how to treat whooping cough.
