What to know for the Tri-Cities Water Follies weekend

The Tri-City Water Follies would like to make the public aware of the following information related to this weekend’s Lamb Weston Columbia Cup hydroplane race and HAPO Over-the-River Air Show:

•    Columbia Park from Edison St. heading east to Fruitland St. will be closed to general use beginning 6:00 pm Thursday, July 26 and going through Monday, July 30, 10:00 am.

•    Columbia Park from Edison St. heading west to the Kiwanis Building will be closed each evening beginning Thursday, July 26 and going through Sunday, July 29.

•    Bicycle paths in Columbia Park from Edison St. heading east to Fruitland St. will be closed to general use beginning 6:00 pm Thursday, July 26 and going through Monday, July 30, 10:00 am.

•    Wade Park, Pasco will be closed to general use beginning 6:00 am Saturday, July 28 and going through Sunday, July 29.

•    There is a Drop-off and Pick-up area (including taxis) next to the Will-Call Trailer in Columbia Park. No fee required to enter this area.

•    Ben Franklin Transit service is available Saturday and Sunday. Check out bft.org/news/special-events.html for additional information.
