YAKIMA, Wash. -- He was on the run from police cutting through yards until he wound up inside a home with two teenage girls.

Police surrounded the home near 32nd and Englewood Avenues for about 20 minutes before Kody Swearngin gave himself up.

Investigators say he is a wanted felon and was carrying a gun.

KIMA spoke with the teenage girls who did not want their identities revealed.

Police think the suspect might have ditched the gun when he was running. They have not been able to find it.
