Family puzzled by man's disappearance

"I think my brother is here. I don't know why I just have this feeling. This is what he knows," says Gayle Davis.

Volunteers from all corners of the Tri Cities gathered Saturday to search for Larry Davis.

The 47-year-old disappeared from work in Albany, Oregon three weeks ago. With nothing more than a note declaring that all of his worldly possessions go to his wife.

They had just moved from the Tri-Cities a few months ago. It's why his family and friends decided to starting combing this area.

Clifford Adair, a family friend says, "we're just gonna go out and search some neighborhoods and see if he is there or not."

Larry's wife Kathleen says Larry suffers from bi-polar disorder, and has left for a few days at a time before but never like this.

Kathleen tells KEPR, "this time it's different. This time he left his wallet and debit card and I mean everything in Oregon.

Kathy tells me it's not like Larry to be gone for this amount of time without letting anyone know where he is and if he's safe, volunteers tell me Larry is a unique individual with a big heart.

Lorie Swearingen, another Davis family friend says, "he is amazing. He is compassionate he is willing to work, do anything for you."

Kathleen says the "not knowing" has been the hardest part... Especially for the couples children.

She says, "to not have an answer you know, Aden asked me the other day am I going to go through like without my dad? I don't know and I will try to answer that."

Do you think he's still alive?

She says, "Yes, because I would know. We are too connected after 17 years I think I would know if he were gone."

But for now, Kathleen's search for answers continues.

She says, "Just try and find a clue, to be able to tell my boys something."
