Ready.. set.. go!
RICHLAND - 50 cub scouts took part in the Pinewood Derby this afternoon.
Each scout made their own car and competed based on design and speed.
Most of the scouts had competed in the previous years
But some told us they had to switch-up their car's design's to try to win.
“They give you this packet and they tell you the rules and then you're suppose to follow the rules and make a car and my dad came up with these wacky ideas for my car and I just hope its fast enough!’, says Tomas Coghlan.
This year the scouts got to try out a new track and system that they purchased and the kids said that it was working great.
