Safety rules at the dog park in Richland has some upset

RICHLAND - It's a Saturday tradition. Taking your pooch to the dog's park.
But in Richland, Action News discovered not everyone is welcome in the dog park.

Recently the city council decided that kids under 10 are banned from being at the park alone.
On top of that, kids between the ages of ten and fourteen now have to have adult supervision.
Those rules were meant to keep children safer, but a lot of parents say it's not fair.

“I'm suppose to watch my dog and watch my son at the same time and it's kind of an inconvenience for me because I cant do both at the same time, I cant be two places at once”, says Cristina Feuerborn.

The new rules come as Richland works to finish a two acre expansion to the park this spring.
