Pasco Couple Celebrates 60 Years of Marriage
PASCO -- We're always looking for some good news to bring you and we found it in the 60-year marriage of a Pasco couple.
It's proof good, old-fashioned love is still around.
Rudy and Inez Seholm met in Milton-Freewater.
He was looking for work and she was working as a hotel maid.
Rudy popped the question after just a few weeks.
Inez admits she knew she'd marry Rudy right after they met.
She credits patience and dedication for keeping them together.
Inez: "So when something happened an argument or something we didn't take off and say this is it for you. We worked it out"
KEPR: "Do you think you made the right choice to stick with it and work it out?"
Inez: "Well sometimes I do and Sometimes I don't (Laughter)...but over all I'd say yea I do"
The couple celebrated their anniversary with friends and family during an open house today.
