Tri-Cities Remembers the Fallen

PASCO -- Hundreds of people here in the Tri-Cities marked Memorial Day with services around town honoring fallen soldiers.

Wreaths were laid, and Taps was played. Several people were remembering fallen veterans from Vietnam, Korea and World War II, but there were also Iraq war veterans remembering their friends and unit members lost in battle.

Dale Ray did two tours in Baghdad and says one of his friends was recently killed after being hit with shrapnel.

"I lost a lot of fellow brothers over there. Two of them just recently passed away. The military is your family when you're out overseas and it's very special to remember them," says Dale Ray.
