Franklin Co. Crash Kills One, Injures Director of Tri-Cities Airport
NORTH FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. -- KEPR Action News found icy roads are likely to blame for a head-on crash that killed a driver Tuesday morning in north Franklin County.
Rafael Santiago-Cruz, 36, of Richland, likely hit a slick spot and slammed right into another driver about a mile north of Taylor Flats and Selph Landing Road. Santiago-Cruz died at the scene.
The man in the other car was Jim Morasch, the Director of the Tri-Cities Regional Airport, who was sent to Harborview Medical Center. He was listed in serious condition Wednesday morning.
