FRANKLIN COUNTY-- KEPR is continuing to follow campaign 2010.

New numbers in the Franklin County auditor's race won't come until tomorrow.

Elections administrator Diana Killian told KEPR she expects about 150 more ballots will be counted.

These include ballots where someone might have forgotten to sign it, ballots submitted by military people overseas, and ballots that have to be judged by a canvassing board in cases where it wasn't clear who they were voting for.

At this point, Matt Beaton is leading Zona Lenhart by 126 votes.

That is about the bare minimum needed to avoid a recount.

You also called us to say incumbent Zona Lenhart was inside the annex today where ballots are held.

Lenhart sent an email to KEPR saying she is still the auditor and it's her responsibility to oversee the whole process.

Both she and the elections administrator insist there were no ballots being counted during her visit. She also called for County Commissioner Brad Peck to recuse himself from the canvassing board since he has taken an active role in challenger Matt Beaton's campaign.
