New Store Uses Recycled and Re-used Items To Open
WALLA WALLA -- A new store in Walla Walla is doing its part to help the environment.
Owners of the Walla Walla Bead Company says they used almost all recycled and re-used items to open up their store.
They mixed paint so they didn't buy new.
The display shelves came from another store going out of business.
With a little love, they transformed the entire shop.
"There was so much good stuff out there. I mean it wasn't necessary to go purchase new, there was a lot of stuff people were taking to these places," Darlene Steiner with the Walla Walla Bead Company said.
The owner says it's not only green it's cheap and gives the store a one-of-a-kind look.
