TRI-CITIES -- Continuing coverage of the Tri-Cities pastor who admitted to killing his neighbor's puppy. On Sunday, the puppy's owner, Christy Rose, came to David Rea's church to picket. She didn't come alone, bringing friends and family to the Tri-Cities Baptist Church along with their picket signs.

Rose is upset at how Pastor Rea handled the situation when her puppy escaped and got into his chicken coop.

She says he slit her dog's throat, but David Rea says he put the dog down humanely.

"I believe in protecting your livestock and protecting your family, but against a 6 month old puppy, there's not really much to protect there, I mean if you were that afraid of a the dog all you'd have to do is grab the scruff of his neck and pick him up. There's a humane way to kill an animal and there's not," Herman Rose, Christy's brother said.

No charges have been filed against Pastor Rea and the Sheriff's Department has not gotten back to us about if any law has been broken.

Christy plans to picket on and off all week.
