RICHLAND -- KEPR discovered a Seattle-based company that made national headlines this year -- is looking at setting up shop in Tri-Cities.
It's called Qliance. We're told it would be the first of it's kind in the Tri-Cities. It's a primary care facility you use like a gym membership -- one monthly fee gets you as many appointments, procedures, even lab tests you need with no co-pay.
You don't need insurance to join. Thursday the co-founder made a trip to the Tri-Cities to pitch the plan to locals.
"The whole purpose is people have more access to doctors they'll spend less time in more expensive parts of the system like the ER. That's a savings that effects everybody," said Chapin Henry co-founder of Qliance.
They are looking in an existing facility around town, but they're not at that point just yet.
