HANFORD, Wash. -- You've heard a tank at Hanford might be leaking into the soil. A tank holding the most dangerous material at the facility. Now, it seems to be a money pit for your tax dollars despite evidence it wasn't working.

The federal government says it was $2.5 million. A report by the contractor says it was a lot more.
"This undermines the public's confidence in clean up when they hear about waste. They wonder, what's going on at Hanford?" said Columbia Riverkeeper Theresa Labriola.
