Price of gas up 25 cents in a month
BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) - The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $4.07.

That's up 6 cents in a week and 25 cents in a month. It's 17 cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices from Monday's AAA survey:

Yakima $3.96, Tri-Cities $3.93, Bellingham $4.22, Bremerton $4.10, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $4.13, Tacoma $4.11, Olympia $4.12, Vancouver $4.11 and Spokane $3.82.

Crude oil prices has hovered between $105 and $110 a barrel for the last month, up from $75 in October, amid worries that a military strike by Israel or the U.S. on Iran's nuclear facilities could disrupt supplies from the oil-rich Middle East.

"A sizable risk premium is likely to remain in place for some time while the Iranian situation goes unresolved," National Australia Bank said in a report. It "suggests that prices through 2012 will continue to sit north of $100."
