Lawyers forced to work with unworkable murder suspect
The lawyers for an accused killer will have to stay on the case, despite asking to be taken off of it.
The court-appointed attorneys for Jose Garcia-Morales have told the judge their client won't talk to them -- and they can't be expected to present a successful defense.
The judge said the court would have a hard time replacing them at this point -- especially with the trial set to begin soon.
Jose and his brother Ramon were both charged with the murder of a Pasco man back in 2008.
Ramon was already convicted of the crime.
