Investigation into stolen money from Franklin County Public Works leads to arrest
PASCO POLICE NEWS RELEASE -- In January-2012 the Pasco Police Department began an internal fraud investigation concerning misappropriation of funds by Franklin County Public Works employee(s). Pasco Police are conducting the criminal investigation at the request of Franklin County Officials and the Attorney General’s Office.

Today (2/2/12) police are executing search warrants at the Franklin County Public Works building and a residence in Pasco. The execution of the search warrants is being conducted in furtherance of the criminal investigation.

The investigation is extensive in nature and continues at the direction of the Washington State Attorney General.

Dennis M. Huston (64 yoa) of Pasco was booked into the Franklin County Corrections Center Thursday afternoon. He will be held for Theft First Degree, Money Laundering and Possession of Controlled Substances.
