Youth Center Holds Gay Pride Block Party

KENNEWICK - It's a first for the Tri-Cities with a gay pride block party in Kennewick. The Vista Youth center is hosting the bash.

They're blocking off the road for the dunk tank, live music, fire dancers and food.

The center is the first group of gay-straight, bisexual and transgender teens.

Vista has been open for half a year since then nearly 300 kids have stopped by.

Saturday night, there's a silent auction and benifit dinner. More than 20 groups and local businesses donated to help raise money for the center.
