PASCO - That beautiful big white building on the Pasco side of the Columbia is being brought back to life.

The historic building's been through a lot. The hundred year old mansion went from home, to restaurant and then up in flames six years ago. Now a new owner and a new beginning.

Fridays can get busy these days at the Moore Mansion. The century old estate is now the hot spot for weddings and fundraisers.

"The reaction been very positive. We've had a few weddings in June and now a full calendar. we're already booking dates in '08," said owner Brad Peck.

Brad and Debra Peck bought the Moore Mansion three years back. Now finally, the outside is just about finished. The inside will be ready for events in a couple months. But it's not just blushing brides whose dreams are coming true here.

"This is my dream job," said Stoia Grieb.

Grieb is one of the contractors sprucing up the colossal columns and dreamy deck.

"Fourteen years ago I came to this country as a Yugoslavian refugee. I remember going over the blue bridge and seeing the beautiful restaurant," said Grieb.

Now her family-owned business is making its mark on this Tri-City treasure.

"We're priming the Terra cotta to be as beautiful as it was before," said Grieb.

"The preservation on history strengthens this as an event location so they're very compatible," said Peck.

For the standout bride or showstopping fundraiser, who wouldn't want to borrow a little piece of history.

Peck tells says they are already thinking about adding a separate building to the property. It would be an indoor space for any rainy days or summer swelters. That one would have to got through the city first.
