YAKIMA -- A group of local Yakima business owners are rallying against a new piece of art.
Depot owner Karl Pasten thinks the piece of art goes against the historic 150 year old district. Not to mention, the million dollars in renovations the city has made to the street.
Karl Pasten, Depot Restaurant"We sell food and beverage in a historic setting we're very careful to preserve the 100 year old ambiance that we have inside and out."
The rally against the statue starts Monday at noon on Front Street. There will also be a petition to sign that will be given to the Yakima City Council.
