Stanfield Water Line Project To Raise Water Rates
By Kyle Trompeter
STANFIELD - The Stanfield water line project may actually raise your water bills - substantially.
The affected area is on the west side of 395, between downtown and I-84. The project hopes to move forward early next year. and now the city has some solid numbers to work out. The estimated cost of the project is nearly $4,000,000. What that means for you is a higher water bill. Right now, an average home in Stanfield pays about 25 bucks a month. With the new water line, that bill could double. The city says it won't make a decision on how all the money will shake out until next month. |
