YAKIMA -- After going to Iraq and a year of deployment, the 181st Bravo company with the 81st brigade is back home.

Sunday they got a warm welcome from locals with a lunch and small gifts.
But for some of the soldiers, they're just happy to be home for the little things.

"I took a really long nap slept like all the way home and slept when I got home," says Sgt. David Acklin, 181st Bravo Company.

"I was looking for the burger and I wanna spend sometime with my wife. She's going through culinary school so I was trying some of her food," says Second Lt. Matthew Yamamoto.

All of the 130 unit came back safe and sound. While in Iraq they were doing convoy security, protecting civilian contractors.
