BENTON CITY -- Folks in Benton City are wondering where's the water?
There's a water shortage at the city pump and crews don't know why.
So Benton City asked people on city water to stop watering their lawns and cut down on shower times.
We found one homeowner who's already thinking of creative ways to keep her tomato plants watered.
"Luckily my daughter's kiddie pool is full of two-day-old water and we're going to use that until it runs out. And I guess if the plants die that's just part of living in the desert," said Erin Walsh.
Action News called up the mayor. He says that crews are going out to the wells Monday to figure out why they are so short on water.
