KENNEWICK -- The Columbia Center Mall has a new display of a baby mammoth skeleton.

It's a replica of the one found in Siberia in the 90's.

The original is believed to be the smallest ever discovered and the only complete baby mammoth skeleton.

When The Reach Interpretive Center opens up, the skeleton will be on display there along with an adult male Columbian Mammoth.

The center will feature exhibits about plants and animals from this region, Ice Age Floods, the B Reactor and much more.

“It's a sneak preview of what people in this community will be able to expect once the Hanford Reach Center opens. It's been in the planning stages for many many years now, and we felt people just wanted to see what is this project really going to be able about,” Kimberly Camp with the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center.

The mammoth will be at the mall through the end of the year, the interpretive center is hoping to be open by 2012.
