An Oregon man's been picked up for animal abuse.
Over 40 horses and goats have been killed because they haven't been properly fed since the fall. Now police and area vets are doing what they can to help out.
"Start feeding them slowly, to get their digestive system to function again. then over time the feed will increase so they can start to recover, and we're hopeful most of these horses will recover in a few weeks of time," said Vet Mark Sargent.
The Stanfield community is donating hay and cash to help the horses, and some have offered to adopt.
