BB Shooters Damage Kennewick Cars, Home

KENNEWICK-- While people were sleeping, someone was driving around town, shooting out car and house windows with what police say appears to be a BB gun.
Police say the shooters targeted at least ten residences, shooting out car windows and even a house window Friday night in the east and central parts of town. Heidi Russell's family had four cars outside, and every one of them was damaged. They don't have full insurance coverage, so all that money will come out of their pockets. Russell and her daughter spent their Saturday cleaning up broken glass. "It makes me mad," she said. "It's going to be expensive trying to replace all these windows. I hope they catch them." Police are asking anyone with property damage, or anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles, to call their tip-line at (509) 586-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous. |
