KENNEWICK-- Police say they found a woman's body in the road early this morning in Columbia Park, between the golf course and Edison Street.

Police won't say how she died, and have not identified her yet.

The Washington State Crime Lab is looking at the death as a possible homicide, according to KPD.

"That's kind of bad for our friendly neighborhood park, to find out we have murders going on," said Glenn Hannaman, a Richland resident who visits the park often. "It's kind of upsetting, knowing we don't have a safe community anymore."

Police estimate the body is about 25 to 30 years old.

Anyone with information should call Kennewick Police.
