Hermiston Soldier Honored at Homecoming

Hermiston Soldier Honored at Homecoming

By Rudabeh Shahbazi

PASCO-- Hermiston soldier Trenton Storm got the royal treatment, when his supporters greeted him at the airport.

Family, friends, veterans and even a motorcycle brigade turned out to give him a hero's welcome.

His mother embraced him when he walked through the security gate.

Storm has been serving in Iraq for more than a year. He is on leave for a few weeks.

When asked what he missed most about home, he said, everything. "Nothing's normal over there, so you just miss everything."

Storm's brother also served in Iraq and has been on leave since January.
