ADAMS COUNTY - An early morning flying fireball, followed by a boom. It woke up the Mid-Columbia and was seen hundreds of miles around.
It was just seconds but it spurred hours of talk and conversation.
The search is on. Folks from Missoula to Portland saw the flash in the sky. But did it actually land?
Two things could have happened, a meteor vaporized or a meteorite landed.
There is no confirmation it actually landed. But one report puts the flash landing in Adams County. But no one has found anything.
