KENNEWICK - Another big draw on Labor Day weekend created quite a crowd in Columbia Park.

On Saturday, some 300 men and woman pushed themselves to the limit for the Titanium Man Triathlon -- it's kind of like the famous "Iron Man" competition.

Competitors started the day with a swim downstream Columbia River, then a about 25 mile bike ride and ending in 6 mile run to the finish line.

"We had a record crowd with people from all over the Pacific Northwest. People from Seattle and Portland have come. We've built up a pretty good reputation so the folks really enjoy coming here and seeing the sunshine and getting a pretty good race," said race director Eric Greager.

After the finish line there was lots of cheers and lots of water. And even a tent to get a message.
