RICHLAND - The Tumbleweed Music Festival is one of the last big events for vendors as the summer wraps up.
County fairs, Water Follies and music festivals all mean big business for all the mom and pop booths.
Action News talked with a family-owned business. Daniel Miranda's mom owns a shaved ice stand and he runs the the bacon wrapped hot dog tent.
"It's been tough. Some events don't come out how they're suppose to be with turnout and the crowd. But overall it's been a good year. I can't complain compared with previous years. 18 Years growing up around these types of events and it's amazing to see people still coming out especially with how hard times have been. So it's has been good." said Miranda.
It really has been an up and down year. The Benton-Franklin fair's attendance was down by 5,000 people. But turnout for Water Follies was reportedly up.
